Stunningly Beautiful Cookware

This lid is a replacement for one that I accidentally dropped and broke. The powers that be decided to replace my lid at no charge, which I thought was very generous. Their customer care is compassionate and caring and they are proud of their product, rightfully so. This is some of the most beautiful cookware I have used or seen. I have a set of Scan-Pans top-of-the-line cookware, and this cookware is as good, if not better. The lids aren't quite as tough, as there is no metal surround, but it makes them absolutely beautiful. The non-stick ceramic coating is noticeably more non-stick than Scan-Pan's titanium-based coating. I don't think anything is more non-stick than Silver Stone coating, but there are health questions about it, and it doesn't last long. These are the perfect pans for making omelets. Eggs are notoriously sticky, and they just slide right out of these pans. They can also take the heat of high-temperature sautéing. They are also perfect for braising, as you can transfer them directly from your burner to the oven, lid and all. Even at temperatures over 400 degrees, they can withstand the heat. Their aluminum core ensures even cooking, and the bottoms are perfectly flat for use on induction burners. These pans are not just decorative; they work well, clean up easily, and are a true pleasure to use. Having worked as a chef and in the restaurant industry for over 40 years, I have used a wide range of pans; the performance of these pans is near the top, as is their looks. They come magnificently packaged and make wonderful gifts as well as for use at home. If you're hesitating on a set, give one a try; you'll be back for more.
